Qualifications/Experience:
• Ph.D. or Master in Microbiology, Microbial Genetics, Biochemistry or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or research lab studying soil and/or plant microbiology or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of soil/plant microbiome literature is required.
• Expertise and extensive research experience in soil microbiome and/or plant endophytes is highly required.
• High level of competency in isolation, culture, and characterization of soil/plant associated microbes
• Knowledge of the study of microbial colonization of plants and/or soil pollutant degradation
• Ability to function in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
• Work well independently, be a self-starter, and bring new ways of working to the research team； Creatively solve problems and take ownership of new projects..
• Good managerial and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with internal teams and external partners； Ability to work efficiently across functions and with diverse teams of collaborators spanning disciplines and geographies； Comfort with ambiguity and complexity required; open to change and learn.
Preferred experiences:
• Expertise in identification/screening heavy metal resistant microbes, or pollution degrading microbes or plant yield and health microbes.
•微生物学、微生物遗传学、生物化学或相关领域的博士或硕士。有土壤、植物微生物学或相关的研究方面经验；
•深入了解土壤/植物的微生物组学文献；
•具备在土壤微生物组和/或植物内生菌方面的专业知识及丰富的研究经验；
•对从土壤/植物中相关微生物的分离、培养和表征鉴定等方面具备较高水平的能力；
•在植物微生物定殖和/或土壤污染物降解的研究方面有深入了解；
•能够自律、高效地适应快节奏的创业环境；
•能够独立开展工作，充分发挥主观能动性，为研究团队创新工作方式。能够创造性地解决问题并具备掌管新项目的能力；
•具备良好的研发项目管理和时间管理技能；
•需要有较强的人际交往能力，有与内部团队和外部合作伙伴的良好沟通能力；能够有效地跨职能工作，并能与跨学科和跨地域的不同团队协作。需要适应工作的不确定和复杂性，乐于学习和改变；
•具备重金属抗性微生物、污染降解微生物、增产及提升作物健康等相关微生物的筛选/鉴定的专业知识者优先考虑。
需要您：
• Screening and Isolating soil/plant heavy metal resistant or TPH/PAH degrading microbes from soil/plant samples and from a large selections of microbiome samples.
• Design and conduct molecular and bioassay experiments for the mechanism of action study of the selected microbes.
• Designing and executing product development experiments.
• Communicating scientific findings to key business partners through written technical and non-technical materials, and oral presentations.
• Preparing technical reports and SOPs; Maintaining appropriate R&D records (e.g. Laboratory notebooks); procurement of research materials and general laboratory management；
• Organizing and maintaining stocks and consumables including essential strain collections and microbial consortia；
• Carrying out routine maintenance of equipment；
• Assisting with research funding and patent applications.
•从土壤/植物样品和大量微生物组样品中筛选和分离重金属抗性微生物或TPH/PAH降解微生物；
•设计并进行相关分子和生物鉴定实验，从而探究特定微生物的作用机理；
•设计并开展产品研发实验；
•通过书面和非技术材料以及口头陈述向核心业务伙伴交流科研成果；
•撰写技术报告和标准操作流程；合理记录并保存原始研发数据（如实验室笔记本）；采购试验材料并具备一般实验室管理能力；
•合理组织及管理保存及清理工作，包括菌株保存和废弃微生物处理；
•实验设备的日常维护；
•协助完成科研经费及相关专利的申请。
年薪：
博士20-25万、硕士10-15万并有绩效和年终奖金。
